This man is called Red Veil Monarch, and he is the first of my newest collection of male portraits. I wanted him to be a visual representation of every gay man I've known. For every man who's been called weak. For every man who's had to hide themselves, their passions, and sorrows because life forced them to. Being soft or gracious isn't just for women. It is beautiful soul-touched humanism that defies the boundaries of sex and gender. Every man in this collection reflects this idea.
The painting is signed in the front, and is also signed, titled, and dated on the back! I recommend framing him in a 12x16 floating glass picture frame.
